My aesthetic is very organic, and the inspirations for my textures are derived from nature. I feel that a piece of art should not only be visually pleasing, but also interesting to the touch.
I started creating ceramic planters because of my love for plants, especially succulents and cactus. I honor these unusual plant creatures by creating a special container that is not only functional, but also pairs well with their unique beauty.
As are plants, all of my designs and shapes will vary with their own distinctive personality. Most of my work is hand-built without the use of a potter’s wheel, so everything I create is one-of-a-kind.
